Well written doc that covers the basics.

You should check the augmented and diminished section again, tho! ;)

Super fast, or not super fast, this is still an arpeggio to me. Since most synthesizers that has arpeggio onboard works pretty much the same way. :D

You're right, Groepaz, but in chip music the term "arpeggio" is often (mis)used with the meaning of "fast arpeggio".

"One way that the C64 users had to cope with this limited chip was to play arpeggios. A fast trilling sound that has several notes going off in a row, but at such high speed that the human ear sets them up as a chord."
that is misleading imho - arpeggios are simply chords broken up into their single notes, they don't have to be played superfast to create the illusion of several notes played at once.

Thanks - This is very nice. Easy to understand for the ones of us who tend to find music theory a bit boring and sometimes confusing. :)

This document will help you out when making new music. It lists all the musical intervals, and some basic chords. As well as gives you some examples how to build up your own chords.
