| Nono Cresh, i don't think you prove anything this time by g00gling up a kingfisher. Even if that pic possibly could have worked as inspiration, it is clearly not a convertion job. |

| hmh does not convince me of it's being origano or even converted. Call me naive, but I rather believe in what .rar says with 1992 version/workstage, you'll find tons of similar shots of kingfishers with fish in their beacons in similar pose. And even IF sth was wired in 1992, it can't have been more than outlines |

First of all thanks to all of you for your kind comments and critics
@Cresh: You are right, there was a bad screenshot at the beginning
@Groepaz: I tried to avoid dithering, but at some point i gave up
(the plants to the left and especially the orange part of the bird)
@Sounx: Seems you are right, i just checked some kingfisher pictures in the web
(The tail could be shorter and the abdomen smaller and darker)
on the other hand this is meant to be a fantasy picture and not an accurate copy
@Jak T Rip: Great you pointed at Wayne Schmidt. I had seen at least one picture from him years ago
('a damsel emerges' as i know now) and had tried to find it again, but had no idea
by whom it was done and how it was called! This guy had made fantastic pictures !!
btw. Eisvogel is german for kingfisher |

Wow! What a nice picture. Love the use of colors.
It's only the tail that seems a bit strange and it has a too big ass, I think.

This picture was done/finished in January & February 2014 with Pixcen
The kingfisher motif is a repixeled version of an unfinished
picture from me from June 1992 (done with Amica Paint).
