@Powertrace: I was referring to both, while the actual sound is the lesser problem ;) Don't get me wrong, I don't mean to be rude at all, leads are usually the hardest part, I know that too well ;)

NO-XS has made some valueable suggestions and yeah ... please continue!

The instrument has some cool vibration at the end. Can easily be turned into a lead that people like by doing simple things:
-add some slide, ie make every first or 32th note of the pattern a slide from 1 note down
-add a bit of variation in sustain/release by ie making a second lead instrument that differs
-add a few 'in between' notes just before the 'main' notes, ie listen to Dane's leads :)

I hope you will make a lot more sids!

@TheRyk: Thanks :)
Yeah, The my leads isn't the best, the first lead i think is good but the second isn't :)
Thinking of doing a version2 with better lead sounds and leads.

Guess Linus and Groepaz mean this Italo disco stuff from around 01:00-01:40 and 02:20-2:35 or sth. I must agree, these passages sound a little uninspired melodywise and also the instrument you use there is less elaborate than the others.

Still, it is quite enjoyable all in all and technically well-done.

@Linus: Do you mean the lead sounds or the actuall melodies? :) I know the melodies may not be the best, working on that :)

Thanks all for your nice comments :)
@Groepaz: Well leads is not my strong suit, still learning to get them better.
Drums and bass have always been my main drive :)

i have to be honest: i really like the sounds, the drums and the bassline. however, when the lead kicks in it ruins everything :(
