This is truly a gem! 10/10.
The small and only downside are presets that are set in impractical range (varying from extremely low-octaves to mid-octaves at highest possible pitch only). This was partially solved by "Pulse High" preset in v1.2.4, but it's not here anymore.
Not a big deal if someone wants to tweak the presets manually everytime he restarts the program, but in the end, it isn't really handy as the presets were clearly made to be kinda ready-to-use. | User Comment Submitted by 1BM on 16 September 2015
@Ray Manta - yes it works with kerberos without problems, i just wanted to rule out for any non-kerberos user that it needs a datel compatible interface. | User Comment Submitted by DjS on 15 September 2015
This woks like a charm on the kerberos | User Comment Submitted by Ray Manta on 15 September 2015
Presuming that this will work with the Kerberos cart since it emulates Datel nicely? | User Comment Submitted by 1BM on 14 September 2015
Original software by Paul Slocum, hex-modification and upload permissioned. Modified to play all possible mixed 8580 waveforms and some odd sync/ring sounds aswell. All sounds have no modulation/effects by standard now, paddle 2 is routed to pulse on startup (press C= + V to turn paddle 2 off). Software only works with DATEL midi interface, else it will not start up (midi interface can also be set in vice). |
