@spider-j: Good Q!

I made it on and for the 6581 - but I had to crash(sleep) after ~48hrs+/- without sleep, and threw the USB-key with the v0.6a(ish) of the tune into the hands of one of our guys who managed to stay awake, and actually got it submitted in the compo.
I am pretty sure instructions were NOT given :P

- There is only one person to blame for that: ME!

Then again I try to do my tunes as compatible as possible, so it replays almost and aboutish as it should on the 8580 also.

Additionally - I managed to do a 03:40 track, with the(imo) best part hitting the last 40 seconds, and handing it into a compo with a limit at 03:00.
I knew that. I know I knew that. I think... Well - I knew, but I did not realize until it was chopped during the compo at exactly 03:00.

- There is only one person to blame for that: ME!

I don't really care about it either, as long as it played ~OK on the 8580.
-> I went to X to party; not to worry about my last-minute-entry, and THAT turned out just as it should! :D

(also I believe alcohol told me I could not really hear the difference during the compo)

CHEERS! 0/

This tune really shines on 6581. It could be a great soundtrack for a game.
