Fantastic loader system. This was the version I used for the digital disk version of Cruiser-X 79.

There's also a git repo for the loader now https://github.com/cadaver/c64loader which may make it easier to keep up with modifications. Might add the AXY option for long filenames as official.

Kewl - including support for Exomizer 3. Now one will have to convert it to Kick Assembler, isolate the loader from the installer (to know which needs to be resident) and patching to support native filenames rather than zero terminated ... :-)

Changes:

- Drivecode will retry read sector indefinitely; read error return code removed from getbyte. This speeds up decompression a little.
- Rewritten 2-bit protocol send loop based on c64gameframework loader.
- Proper detection of Drean machines for 2-bit send adjustment.
- Use 2 MHz mode on 1571 for better timing reliability.
- Further optimization of getbyte.
- ADDITIONAL_ZEROPAGE option removed; it's mandatory now.
- LOAD_UNDER_IO no longer needed to load compressed data under the Kernal ROM.
- The "slowirq" variable is removed, as maintaining it was extra overhead. The variable "useserial" can be watched instead.
