CCCP

AKA:
Competent Commodore Cracking Pirates

Founded by :
H.O, 254 & TM on 26 December 1982

Dissolved in :
June 1988

Group Types :
Demo Group, Swapping Group

Base Country :
Sweden

Trivia :
I havent updated with the rest of the members, since none of them really got into the scene.

Just for the sake of records, the complete memberlist of CCCP before I (H.O) and Glerc left was:
H.O (co-founder, organizer, coder, swapper), Glerc (coder, swapper), FTA (graphics), 254 (co-founder, coder, organizer for the VIC-20 department), TM (co-founder, graphics, coder), Antonio (graphics, music) & 4040 (swapper).

A previous member (Spy : Coder, Swapper) was kicked out during 86 since he was too lazy even by CCCP's very relaxed standards.

The group actually started as a VIC-20 group (with everyone gathering around 254's VIC-20) and was started in December 1982 (since 254 got his Vic-20 for christmas that year)

When both H.O & TM bought c64:s (late 83 or early 84) the focus was shifted to c64, so while CCCP was founded in 82 it didnt become a c64-group until late 83 or early 84. (I have updated this segment after reading through all old scrolltexts in our demos; incredibly boring and somewhat embarassing btw)

The group was first named CCCC (Competent Commodore Cracking Crew) but quickly changed name to CCCP since it gave a cooler name.
