AKA:
JEDI 2001
Founded by :
1103, OTD & Oleander in 1983
Group Type :
Cracker Group
Base Country :
Germany
Trivia :
(Information Taken from Interview with OTD at www.c64.com)
My synonym was OTD and I was in a group called JEDI 2001 formed out of Oliver Joppich (J, also known as 1103 (his birthday)), Oliver Eickemeier (E, also known as Oleander, one was in his "Kinderzimmer") and Oliver Dietz (DI). 2001 seems to be some data from far into the future... We were thinking of a name that more represented our identical names O3 or Ozone, but the force was with us, and it still is. I have no contact with the others.

Seeing the crack by 1103 called 'International Soccer' where the graphics was changed so the billboards showed '1103' instead of 'commodore' that made me discover the scene. True Legends! |

I am an ex-member of Section 8. OTD knows me like most of the rest of the rhein-main scene. JEDI were the best in terms of knowledge and coding capabilities. Section 8 were top in organisation and mass-releases due to its (organisational) mastermind MPB. So the voting results for JEDI compared to S8 are absolutely fair and correct. BTW. who cares anyway ? |

@General Zoff: but could you explain me then why you've voted a 7 for Section 8 but a 10 for Jedi?? I'm just curious... (c;
For me both groups are TRUE HEROES, beside ABC, GCS and a few others from the very beginning...

If you vote for a scener or a group you usually vote what you think about them... Some stupid guys votes bullshit only because of their own group or scener votings dropped the top votings...
That's the reason why General Zoff wrote that comment...
And I think that JEDI are the TRUE HEROES too... |

OK... But when would it count as downvoting? if I give them a 7?
Sorry, I'm not gonna upvote a group because they were famous/cool/whatever... I vote for their releases, and will be honest with what I vote... thats why I don't mind everyone seeing my votes. I'm not gonna vote, as I don't even know this whole group... yeah, go ahead, flame me for not knowing the complete scene history =D

WARNING! Don't dare to vote them down !
It will only prove that you don't know anything about Scene history and it's roots.
They were the TRUE HEROES for all those who have been your heroes ... BEWARE !!
