but the tune fits the gfx having nothing to do with Robert Smith quite well. if it had not written Boys Don't Cry on it, no one would recognize it. honestly, it's so hell off key it makes you think composer was deaf (or wish you were to make the pain stop).

PS: I know Barry did better than that later

I found this release on a Triad spreaddisk from 1986, so yeah. 1986.

It is very likely, that this was released in 1986, when the above named duo were quite active. The Cure track was re-released in 1986 (originally from 1979).
