@Ben: :)))
I know, some of those pictures suck majorly, especially the oldest pieces. However, they might be interesting for some people - if for nothing else, at least to have a good chuckle. ;)
We have tried to put together the graphics in a chronological order to show the process of advancing. A chronicle of "craftmanship". :P Like, show me someone who started his career with pulling the best tricks out of his magic hat. ;)

@Anonym: feel guilty? Ah, I know, you mean the pizza with the pepperoni and the extra cheese you have promised and it never reached my place? ;)

mmh... maybe we should look at the note again... but you could be right that hoogo did it. and of course we were moving 72-SPRITES over 4x4 FLI, hehe. _Leonardo/PADUA

Leonardo/JailBird:

If I remember correctly Hoogo added the Tentacles in order to fill the screen a bit more, since Leonardo wanted to make sure that people knew that it was 72 sprites.

Arnold: Somehow this release gives me a guilt trip, you might know why ;-)

Dane/HCL/Jailbird: Great stuff. Love you guys :)

Graphics are very nice. I specially liked the horizontal and vertical views depending on the picture size. Nice idea.

Agreed, great to see the older stuff, seeing that even the elite were beginners once. :-) Nice collection!

Ayeah,that´s a very nicely executed collection! 8)

Some really cool pieces of MC-art in there!
I also watched it with Vice because the C64 doesn´t have an Alt-key. ;)

@Leonardo: the picture you're referring to was made during Symmek 2001 - but unfortunately I was not present at the party. :) Anonym asked for a picture that day, so it was made in a hurry, sent via email - and later Cupid (if I recall right) added those tentacle-kind of things at the party - that was the piece you have used in the demo.

@Domey: actually, a compopic collection was planned long before this one but the development stopped. Don't expect it in the near future, though. I think we're done with graphics-collections for a while :)

Great pixelling and use of colours in newer pics (title, menu, chronicle, endscroll..)
Oldest pics were a bit funny =)

Well, I was expecting some more of the newer craft.
So, how about a collection of your brilliant compopictures, Arnold?
And oh, the music sounded very much like Madonna.
Can't really say if this is a cover, anyway.

hah... funny again. the pic in gray, the woman with tatoo. this pic was done exclusive for the PADUA smurf/schlumpf demo. but i used the blue colors, grins. the right lower empty corner in this pic was filled with the words 72-SPRITES. if i guess right, this was done on the demo party with a coop grafican? mmh... this part in this demo was the HARDEST to code. coders know why, hehe. timing changes if you are moving sprites in y. cu,
