Although the music came from a game called "RVF Honda" on Amiga and Atari ST, it sounds uncannily similar to the "Double Dare" TV show theme (very 80s!).... | User Comment Submitted by ThunderBlade on 21 August 2015
Whatever. This was almost two decades ago. I did it as a test in 1997, later someone begged me to put it into the wild compo at Mekka&Symposium. If you want to discuss further, let's move to the forum. | User Comment Submitted by chatGPZ on 21 August 2015
The CMD1750XL (2MB) was actually released in 1997, two years before this demo. | User Comment Submitted by algorithm on 6 November 2013
And Can even to an extent do this using floppy (albeit with lossy compression) The bitmap can be recreated somewhat via mcol charmode (same d022,d023 but different ink per 8x8 in value ranges 0-7) | User Comment Submitted by ThunderBlade on 6 November 2013
@Deekay: A typical unnecessary DK comment. I did this just for fun to try out my SCPU. In 1997 a REU with the corresponding capacity didn't even exist yet. | User Comment Submitted by DeeKay on 6 November 2013
Tsih! Where's the SuperCPU in that? You can easily do that on a standard Commodore REU using interleaved Bitmap-data/digi music DMA!... We couldn't do Digi-music in BluREU due to NUFLI, but it's certainly possible when you use standard bitmap... | User Comment Submitted by andym00 on 29 December 2012
Fantastic! I never thought we'd see SCPU emulation.. Ever! Great job :) | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 28 December 2012 User Comment Submitted by Fishbone on 1 May 2009 User Comment Submitted by Shaun_B aka C02 on 6 March 2006
A nice demo, though I would have liked more from it. Don't flame me ;-) |
