As far as I recall, the game has developed in these stages: Newcomer Hungarian: 10 sides Newcomer Enhanced: 14 sides (English) and finally... Ultimate Newcomer: Currently in development with shorter decrunch times, faster disk I/O on 1541, direct support for IDE64, C128 and SuperCPU, and most importantly a bug fixed story script to make the "Long & Complex" solution accessible for those really smart players. Further extra hardware may or may not be supported, depending on the developers' time, resources and the availability of gametesters. At the moment the makers are stuck with a critical bug in the re-written game engine code. The English and Hungarian scripts are complete and under testing. Anyway, I just replaced it with a zip file including proper D64 images created by me. When I saw this release back then, it made my jaw drop. Years later my mates JTR and ThunderBlade could arrange a cooperation between CID (the creators of Newcomer) and Protovision for Enhanced Newcomer (ENC).
