I agree to rambones.
I personally prefer party released pictures. I don't think that a party release is made for the prize, but because it adds to the spirit of the event, and because many people will see it who might not look at it if they have to convert it or only watch it with an emulator.
But any good graphic is a cool thing, and worth watching on the real machine. | User Comment Submitted by Twoflower on 22 August 2006
Är det en ren eller en hare? Well, kind of good pixelwork, although much in the same tones over the entire image. | User Comment Submitted by Tch on 22 August 2006
Another great piece of work! \o/

Really Nice! It must have taken HOURS and HOURS to complete! | User Comment Submitted by Clarence on 22 August 2006
Iopop, you're right it's not an actual screenshot, but Leon made this gif, so I used it. :) | User Comment Submitted by Iapetus/Algarbi/Wood on 22 August 2006
Wonderful work Leon. I understand why the background is said to be flat it is to make it recede if it was detailed it would compete with the main characters. Well done! | User Comment Submitted by blackdroid on 22 August 2006
bushes or rocks ? abit too flat bg ( the moon ? and the skybox ) otherwise nice stuff. | User Comment Submitted by Skate on 22 August 2006
I always loved Leon's style. This time it's 2x in size and getting 2x thumb ups from me :) | User Comment Submitted by jailbird on 22 August 2006
IMO, definitely the best picture from your workshop, Leon. Very nice piece of graphics! The coloring is innovative.
Have to mention the negative side of it too, here we go technical: the jaw of the deer is somehow straightly connected to his neck, the bushes in the background are a bit two-dimensional and I'll never understand why do you prefer so much that creepy purple-red-darkgray-blue colorscheme. But all in all, hard core. | User Comment Submitted by iopop on 22 August 2006
320x400, I'd like to have that new graphics card... | User Comment Submitted by LordNikon on 22 August 2006
leon ... you are my new gfx-hero =) | User Comment Submitted by ptoing on 22 August 2006
Nice, that's the spirit. Kinda makes me wonder how many pictures there are that are not releases for a compo or part of a demo. Not many i guess. | User Comment Submitted by leonofsgr on 22 August 2006
The basic idea behind releasing this is the recent wave reaching CSDb. I appreciate and respect those graphicians who dont't draw to get some prizes at the latest parties but rather merely doing it for the sake of enjoying their creativity. Mirage, JailBaby, Ptoing... etc they released many pictures like this recently! \o/ | User Comment Submitted by Cargo on 22 August 2006
Nice pic Leonov! Hey, so it is almost a new Peet zak? :) | User Comment Submitted by Xiny6581 on 22 August 2006
