After this demo was released, Mike went around saying, "I never said I didn't rip! Everyone rips!! That's how new programmers learn!" His new stance was in contrast to his earlier claim that "I NEVER HAVE RIPPED!" I guess his story changed. :) Although programmers will look at other coders' code to learn is acceptable, taking credit for other coders' code is not acceptable. Further, after "You Make the Call", Mike also release about three anti-Shark demos such as "Fuck Shark". I guess I got to him. Interesting that Meanstreak/MSI and all Wanderer's anti-Shark demos are not present on his C64 web site. With his stance changes and ommision of certain embarassing releases, Mike is Canada's George Bush Jr. in that he tries to rewrite history after his lies are exposed. As an aside, I am really learning lately how many people Wanderer has annoyed in the past 2-4 years. Some people never change. | User Comment Submitted by Style on 8 October 2006

"I have some amusing stories about Wanderer after this was released that I can share"
please =) | User Comment Submitted by The Shark-INC on 7 October 2006
Oh god, I just loaded this for the first time in a long time. Even when Wanderer rips, the end result is worse than the original. Wanderer--the master of the increment/decrement logo. Jesus, learn some high school algebra. No wonder why Mike dropped out of art college after six months. Or maybe he was kicked out for art plagiarism? | User Comment Submitted by The Shark-INC on 7 October 2006
Wanderer/Satan just sent me an email where he was in total rage that this was uploaded to CSDB. It was because of this demo that Wanderer stalks me to this day nearly 20 years later. It was after this demo was released that the word "ripper" was forever attached to Wanderer's name. Seems Wanderer's ripping career started long ago. |
