you know the feeling: you are carrying a rose in one hand and a planet on your head, but it feels like the weight of a full universe.

I like this. It could be the title pic to Paul Norman's new game Aztec Challenge II - The Rose of Cyclops. ;)

@tempest: About the black, I like the negative space there, works for me.
Well with "not here to entertain" I mean, I am not thinking at all what others will think when I submit my stuff, I do what I like, I don't care if people like it or not, I do it because I enjoy it and I enjoy the activity in the scene, mostly. If someone enjoys my stuff, of course that makes me happy, but if people would not I would not be sad.

The black area is too dominant. There should be something. I like the expressive face. All in all, a very nice hires-pic.
@Ptoing: if you are not here to entertain, then why do you keep on posting these pics?

Nah, I'm just saying. I am not here to entertain people, I am here because I like the C64 and I sure as hell don't feel I have to reinvent the wheel everytime I make a new picture, noone does.

No more bad words, yo? Give each other a 10/10, and hug everyone around you very hard! <3

Being a lover of petscii graphics and blocky lowfi things in general, this smacks me in the face. Ptoing, I dont know who you are, but dude, this stuff is great. More in this style please! (:

I'm really bored of finding new words to express my feelings. "I'm shocked", "I really liked it", "Cool!", "Impressive", "10/10!" etc. Choose one :)

WHOOP there it is!
I've been waiting for a while now to see this piece of art released!
Again Ptoing, great work. This realy incorporates the most out of the hires AND out of the 8x8 size blocks.
