If the Deformat is like chkdsk, it is not hard to follow the chains. You should make a table, with the first byte of sectors, and follow the chain. Ther will be a lot of false of-course. :) My CRC64 do something like this.

you can think of "deformat" as beeing the equivalent to the msdos "chkdsk" tool... it will recover files when the directory is broken or lost due to a softformat (or whatever else).

Groepaz has sent in a bunch of enhancements and bugfixes for my D64 library. I've merged most of it, and I'm slowly working towards releasing a much improved 0.96...
