you must not listen to the crap talk richard, a few kb here and there who cares... the loading picture makes it look much more complete and are cool... keep up the great work richard!

and to the others here, stop the crap talk and start making games to show of your skills. instead of these crap intros you put infront of programs that dont have protection and call cracks...

Sorry jazzo, but I fail to see the impressiveness here.

I Strongly doubt richard was out to make the smallest possible file size of his game.

Sure, its nicely packed and shortened by whoever hides behind the crap'd label.
I assume the person in question is a long time scener,
with half decent cracking abilities, thus I would not expect anything less.

In the age of emulators, massive hard drives and high speed internet connections, why is it so important to make smaller versions of perfectly fine games?

And why is it, in a scene so small, that we have to write pissy messages in our intros? Are we attempting to make the scene even smaller? Are we trying to exile an actual PRODUCTIVE member of the scene?

This is pettiness to an extreme. If this bullshit is part of some joke that I just don't understand, someone please clue me in.

Nothing against some constructive critic, but there's a fine line between making a point to some one and making a fool of someone.

I understand that there is a certain portion of humour involved but i can imagine richard might not appreciate it.

If you feel the urge to do a fix of a game, thats fine.
What I never understood is the need of some people to include notes and bells and whistles about "oh look at what a crappy job the programmer did".

I guess that's the ego trip some people are riding.

Nevertheless, i do reckon its a greatly improved version.
