interesting study of optical effects once more! And again - I yearn for it becoming a demo effect coded by Ed (you're the only one who can do those bitmap oriented picture tweaking creatively.. I also loved the looooong macx demo!)

Stainless Steel: it's 'modern art', which is something you admire/like or you don't.
Personally, I wouldn't want to make anything like this, but I do understand that some ppl like it.

what am i missing, is this from some actual production that im unaware of ? i hope so .. otherwise i don't really see whats so great about it.

I can almost feel the movement. The stretching. The every frame sensasion :D

Yet this is as stiff as it ever will be, but damn. Those colorcombinations really makes thing rock! Fresh and outstanding dude...
