It’s a nice experiment. It looks kinda interesting. Here’s a recipe. Pick a photo. Any part of any foliage/branches photo will do. Select rectangle selection tool, restrain it to 32:20 ratio. Crop. Resize it to 160x200. Convert it to Indexed color using custom 3 color palette and no dithering. Resize it to 320x200 using nearest neighbor. Voila. You can make an action to automate your future gems of expression. Any other way of producing this (like pixelling) is just superfluous.

Kinda looks like one of my previews of the growing lines in Sharp. I used this color scheme initially... I like this picture very much.

This one is great. Sometimes good expression doesn't necessarily have to come with a lot of hard work and antialiasing. And it shouldn't either.

E.S.: Are your comments a joke? Comparing this to Dokk and the rest isn't really fair.

hair and branches are the hardest thing to pixel. And I thought this looks more like hair in zoom mode :)

I dont know about abstract. It looks like a tree-branch or a bush with some local colors. It would fit the work of let's say Mirage splendidly.

I just can't enjoy this totally abstract stuff, sorry... I did like some of the structural/architectural pictures, but this just doesn't work for me...
