Another proof of the "same effort like N0S and REM"...
Why is the disksideshower wrong?
Why does it crash with the wrong side in the drive (original NOT)?
Why does it crash with RESTORE in Level 5 (and I read in the menu about it!)?
Why no reloading after the endsequence?
Why not more trainers?
Why no Highscoresaver?
Why no Fastloader?
Why does this need 2 disksides?

YES! I could see clearly the SAME EFFORT!

This is a very cool release. I am always happy to see Nostalgia and Onslaught cracks fixed. Good work!

hooray. first fman does his best to make #c-64 totally intolerable by turning it into his own miserable realtime blog, and now its time to have a go at csdb..

(Comments about the release itself thank you - even if the debate is interesting)

Fman: your debate is distancing itself from the comments on this release. However, in brief, I'm glad your aware of the way some people perceive you, maybe this is something needed to improve? Regarding my comments here, they are not really an attack on this release, I'm just pointing out the errors and bugs (just like WDR & co try to do in the docs files and scrollers of their many releases). For a detailed list of further bug reports check - http://duckandchicken.dreamhosters.com/recracks.php

FMan: you didn't get my /msg with all the comments from the channel?

Regarding assumptions, well, quite normal for that to occur with open-ended statements like the one you made...

Fman: It seems you forgot to mention that heaps of guys applauded the decision to remove you from IRC #c-64. This maybe says something about your character? Email me if you have something more to say as this area is for comments regarding this release.

Regarding this release, I haven't commented on many of the other cooperative efforts between WDR and his distributor Troublemaker. However, this one contained so many bugs it was hard to refrain from mentioning them here.

WDR is banned from these forums for a reason. Because he is banned he cannot post directly (!). Some people intentionally don't post or support this BBS because of trolls like WDR (when he was on this BBS) and because of lame releases like this one here (that was two years and too many bugs too late).

Well, the very fact _why_ WDR is not posting here himself says something about his character.

Summary: this version bugs more than the original.

Wdr claims he is able to make a 100% version, but doesnt think the game is worth it.

Still got no clue what the scene is about?!

Useless release. Again.

Minuspoints for the releasecharts :=)

LOL

Most know Wanderer has a reputation (recracking and fake 100% versions) and that Crypt also have something similar (releasing rubbish that is laughable), so, what happens when the two combine?

* More bugs than the original version.

* Time trainer bugs and when you fall down the hole enough.

* This version is far larger in size than the cool Onslaught *first release*.

* This version by WDR+CRYpt has taken 2 years to come out since the Onslaught version and they STILL can't get it right! You would expect a highly improved, level clean/massive pack, bug fixed jewel, but instead a bugging bloated wannabe.

* For the sake of all that is worthy in the scene, find a decent level packer!

* Level skip routine crashes randomly (freezes and crashes). Also, after Level 4 is skipped if the user chooses the wrong disk side it crashes also (easy fix, c'mon WDR).

If you can't make anything decent, with TWO years of time (after the initial release, maybe it's time to find something different to do with your limited time.

WDR and Crypt brings you Wilberforce +7 of this rare C64 game. Apparently only 5 copies ever sold.
