Leon was not attempting to 1:1 copy the original while pixelling this one, and that moved the composition into a completely different context.
-The original had fields of flowers with loadsa daylight.

i did this picture a day before the party. i had no time to do a new ifli, that's why i finished this piece, which i started some time before. it has light gray background...

at scenecon there was no separate c64 gfx competition, it was presented together with the pc entries.

Sky and tree silhouette are both great. Mountain and grass are a bit weird, imho. But overall, the view gives me a very nice & positive feeling.
