I checked the demo again after Knoeki's remark, and it turns out that there's a second bug which occurs only sometimes, and apparently very rarely or not at all on Vice: If you press space in the intro, the screen slides out and it suddenly reappears, then the program has some difficulty addressing the disk drive. Turn it off and on again. You might have to try several times. Alternatively, you can reload the demo.

Other than that, did I tell you that I'm STOOOOPID?!? The other bug I found and fixed is a wrong filename in the intro, and instead of simply renaming the file accordingly I hacked the filename in the intro....Gaaaah!

I downloaded this version, but it doesn't run on my c64... it does run in VICE...

Note on the bugfix:

Replaced a file name: After pressing space in the intro, the program
tries to load the file ".*" which does not exist; I replaced the name
with "0.*" so the first part is loaded. I assumed this was a simple
mistake by the coder; however, if you've got a version which includes
a file that matches the name ".*" and loads "0.*", please send it to
me. You can reach me under slesch@studcs.uni-sb.de or lesch@dfki.de
