Great composition, but IMHO the contrast is a tad too low.
All in all, a nice one. Congrats for beating the PC stuff! :)

hey leon, mr. fear-me-photoshoppers ;) congrats to for the first place and this nice pic. interesting b-movie-atmosphere and imo the whole setting would suit the game very well. my fave is the cave entrance which looks like the shape of a mouth.
the stalactites in front are a too light-coloured for my taste, respectively have the looks of a parallax-scrolling-layer and has a 2d-effect at the top of the pic.

I agree, lets get Leon going with REAL pixels, not those old fake (interlaced) ones ;D

This looks very much inspired by Deev and his image lost. :)

Try the new Nufli graphics mode. I think your graphics will look very nice with it.

Very good, dark atmosphere, i never play in Newcomer but colors and style reminds me other game: Perihelion.

I can't vote because ... interlace ;)
But overall 9,5/10

Nice one. I like how the creature to the right almost shines.
But I have to agree a bit with Jan: the colours are not too inspiring.

You know, I like your pics Leon, but you always use: brown/blue/purple palette. why not mix the colors some more ?

This picture was inspired by my favorite game, Newcomer (what a
surprise). In the game there are several situations when the team has
to enter underground areas. On my picture I tried to draw the entrance
section of one such area that has several lurking enemies like the
basilisk and varanus reptiles portrayed.
This is my own composition, but I based my graphics on the original
ingame assets of Newcomer (wallset, basilisk and varanus pictures --
see attached original assets). The title of the picture refers to Neil
Quoit, protagonist of the game.
