This one really megapowers what I find so fantastic in c64 graphics, they look real but are sure not in a way. They are so careful pixeled that they inside the boundrys of the native c64 format looks so close to reality. They just capture the basic in each image of a car in a way... what is in these should really be strong elements in a final photo or such.

I look a bit upon the native formats without any fancy things in the interlace and so on to be fantastic as a reality border, it just is a framework where artists has to be creative and skilled. I even think sometimes that the finest new format images that are really great do just in the end become some pore graphics card displays in a way. If it is to fool a viewer to think it is a 24 bit image maybe the c64 is not the platform?

The sport cars 1 in this is absolutely splendid and clever done! I guess he did these first before he got bored with the perspective and used ref images with a fishlens... The first screen is perfect in every way.

Basic "DISPLAY" program notes (c) 1984 Kiwisoft Programs

Hidden as BAM Message "FCS/POSTBUGS295/HOOGEVEEN" ? :)

Nice Quality for 1984 - even if those are copied off some magazine or poster :)
