Thanx for the comments, I have some cds with Paul O'Dette, he is a great lute-player.

One of my fave renaissance pieces. Unfortunatly, you cut it short and don't do much with it. There are plenty of ways you could explore the theme in this one - check out Paul O'Dette's clean lute version (for embroideries that are within the limits), the Swingle Singers version (for a possible drifting second voice atop the theme) and most importantly - check the outright brilliant version from Sirinu.

For great C-64 versions of renaissance stuff, check out Trompkins rendition of the icelandic Austankaldinn á oss blés or Asterions version of Como poden per sas culpas. The key in this case is not to make brilliant instruments or a perfect rendition, but to make the tune your own and dare to do something with it.
