oh and if any of my stuff doesnt match exactly what went on the game as published, Codemasters reserved the right to edit anything after they recieved it. you will notice that my BMX sim 2 screens is called "super" which was its original title while the published version says "professional" which was a later change.

well considering this was my first commercial screen done in the early summer of '87, permission was granted by David Darling of Codemasters to upload this and any other stuff i did for them to CNET ARTH as free advertising. Satisfied? oh and while we are on this subject if this isnt valid, neither is Last Ninja, Thrust or Tetris by Dokk, Bob and sit for starters. you wont be left with much of an art section if we really start will you?

Ste ripped all his old work/demo disks a few years ago so I'd imagine it's the original :)

If you check the original tape you see it has two stray pixels. That makes this one either the original unbuggy version or retouched later version ;)

Like Stainless said, how does this not qualify? It's by a scener, it was drawn on C64. Only thing that might be debatable is release date. Was it when the game was released, or when it was made into a PRG. It's also possible Ste uploaded it to his Cnet gallery (I'm sure he'll remember if he did or not).

the title screen isnt a scene release per se though, and i doubt it was released in this form back in 1987.

Hm, why shouldnt it? It's an executable file from a scene person. Arent those the criteria ?

Great picture! I especially like the tubelight reflection on the snooker balls... very fine detailing for an old picture.
