Yes. The images make major use of the pal blending which the fli per line prevents major pixel errors from occurring. Real c64 recommended.

This is indeed nice work. The screenshots do this little demo (and the converter) no justice, but real machine and pal emu looks very nice :)

Wow, looks *much* nicer on the real machine - don't judge from the silly screenshots! Very colourful and non flickering, feels like a mixture between multicolour and hires (well, it is..) - but it reminds me strongly of a mode used in a Crest demo, it was one of the first modes to expanded sprites for enhancing a picture. Anyway, nice!
