This one needs a special cable, right? | User Comment Submitted by DeeKay on 3 December 2013
So is this what I think it is? The *only* copy program I found that makes use of the c128/1571 2MHz, extra RAM, fast-serial and burst mode for disk copying? Or does this still need a parallel cable to achieve 30 secs?...
If the former: Why wasn't this more popular and widely used back then for the time consuming copy sessions? Only "advanced" people had jiffydos or a parallel cable, but *so* many people had a c128 with 1571 (it was built into the c128d and I do not know a single person with a non-d that did not also have a 1571!) | User Comment Submitted by bugjam on 24 November 2012 User Comment Submitted by hedning on 20 November 2012
I made a "manual" screenshot instead... | User Comment Submitted by Count Zero on 20 November 2012
Hm. The snapshot I just added was made with a linux svn recent version. Looks a little stretched compared to the VDC window output as well. :) | User Comment Submitted by bugjam on 20 November 2012
I don't get a decent screenshot of the 80 column-mode in VICE. somebody please add (or give me a hint). Thx. |
