Very awesome remake! As a fan of the 2600 version, I played them both for a bit tonight and have some feedback:
1 thing I miss is the rising pitch each time you hit an incoming rock (as on the 2600 version) It helps you to know how many rocks are left, but also makes the game more fun. I can't explain it better than that.. As the game progresses, perhaps have one rock wiggle, so it can be harder to hit as on the 2600 version.
The other is, the transporter beam should only beam up the creatures if it is deployed right on top of them, but not pick them up if the beam is deployed and the creature runs into the beam (also, as on 2600 version).
I think the graphics are perfect.
Also, I think some ambient noises (think of the eerie ambient background music played on startrek: tng, possibly) during play would be nice.

It could also need some appraisal, and less pissing on it.

Has some potential but still some work to do.
Could need some graphical help on the landscapes and the titlepic.
Sound effects are nicely made and respect for coding it in monitor.

Neat! Gfx+Msx could be a bit better but most important will be the gameplay. Promising!

Respect 4 doing coding, gfx & music (<-thumbs up) all by yourself. All in all, promising, would like to see this finished one day.

beta releases usually never get finished..

Looks good though, but you have lots of work to do still (been following it on facebook) :)

Appears quite buggy by now. Would classify it as a beta version.

Control your ship using Joystick in Port II, pick up creatures by pressing fire and a beam will appear. Make sure that beam is over creature for a few seconds as you beam them up. When both creatures are picked up you can enter the mothership to go to the Asteroid level. (You may run out of time collecting creatures in which case a alarm will sound and you have to get back in mothership as soon as possible)- When on Asteroid level just shoot asteroids by using joystick directions, (up, down, left, right)to proceed to next level. There are still a few little bugs in this release, so please report and they will be fixed in a newer version. So test away and enjoy! (designed to play on real C64 with 6581 Soundchip)
