<3 Thanks @DKT for leaving a comment that pointed me to this old gem. | User Comment Submitted by DKT on 14 September 2023
This one is my all time fav. Just watched it again...
So well all put together, so beautiful demo with great zax.
So many nice parts: scroll sphere projection, shade line vectors, FPP multicolour scroller with VSP bitmap background, vectors/bobs end-part... | User Comment Submitted by Wile Coyote on 29 January 2022
Classic. I watched this today for the first time in a long long while (years and years in fact)
Really nice mix of code, graphics, audio, complete with nice little touches here and there.. | User Comment Submitted by Beastifire on 7 September 2019
The demo competed at this party in an unfinished version, which didn't get spread (hopefully). This is the finished version, which I think was spread in January 1994. | User Comment Submitted by Sith on 11 April 2014
What a beautiful demo from 1993. I was amazed by the nice gfx, great music and cool effects. The bob/vector part was my favorite. Excellent work! | User Comment Submitted by Shokray on 1 April 2014
Very nice Demo, the intro somehow reminds me of an old Amiga Game intro (if my memory serves me right, the name of the game was Moonstone). | User Comment Submitted by ThunderBlade on 18 January 2009
A ruling one. Btw never had problems running it on any drive - right now I'm watching it with an Oceanic drive even!! The demo itself features two of the best musics ever made for the C64, along with such great graphics that you might think they're FLI but it's plain MC! Of course the atmosphere with the monks in the beginning is also a good start to what then turns out to be a demo not only good in gfx and music but also in code! 10/10 | User Comment Submitted by der_ton on 7 February 2008
Too bad most of the guys behind this great demo didn't stay around. Party results can be pretty awkward. | User Comment Submitted by chancer on 23 October 2007
very nice demo, esp the end part. I am a bit suprised by the party result #9? the end part should have boosted that easily. although looking at the results, well it had tuff competition also. | User Comment Submitted by Oswald on 21 September 2006
graham, ninja,... strange I've seen this on basic c64+1541/II setup, maybe your machines had VSP problems?
oh and thumbs up ofcourse, as others wrote it this demo has really nice atmosphere due to the outstanding music&gfx, and for the time very good code too.

I love this one, neat graphics, neat music and neat code...a real pleasure to watch. | User Comment Submitted by Clarence on 21 July 2004
You don't have to comment everytime you directly downvote, really. | User Comment Submitted by WG on 20 July 2004
Nothing special, really...
Not worth to be mentiones seperately. | User Comment Submitted by Ninja on 19 July 2004
I agree with Graham. I never managed to see it completely until today. No surprise, that I forget the demo soon. | User Comment Submitted by HCL on 19 July 2004
@Graham: !? I never had problems, except for the usual c128-problems ;). And yes, there is a reason for the black area left of the lower graphics, it covers 'bugs'. | User Comment Submitted by Graham on 18 July 2004
@HCL: since the demo hardly worked anywhere, it's quite natural that people didnt recognize it. i couldnt watch it until these days of emulation & lot's of different drives and c64s lying around. | User Comment Submitted by Shake on 15 July 2004
Atmospheric demo.. about the nice part where this screenshot is taken from... the lower half is moved to the right side of the screen. Why is that, some code purpose? | User Comment Submitted by Dbug on 15 July 2004
The graphics and animations are nice, and the 3d part at the end is quite well done, but it's really lacking rythm and loadings are lonnnngggggggg. Probably also too much texts, and things like "control the scroller yourself with the joystick" is not one of my fave leisures :) | User Comment Submitted by Oxbow on 15 July 2004
One of my favourite demos, too.. the monks in the intro simply rule! this demo has stunning code+music and eyebleeding graphics..
just curious why this demo didn't reach a higher place than 9th at the party'93? it deserves a much higher ranking! | User Comment Submitted by HCL on 15 July 2004
I just love this demo from the first moment i saw it. It's a shame that people hasn't voted for it, seems like the scene is starting to forget all those golden demos from the past which really has a lot of *spirit* :). |
