| I see, but who on earth would use android for his desktop/laptop? I mean the whole thing runs in java or something -> SLOW, then: lack of software. 99% of the android play store is useless crap, or social/phone crap. :P |

Nothing.
Android is an OS and doesn't only run on phones. You can have an Android device on a HDMI capable tv/monitor along with a keyboard/mouse attached. |

| this smarthpone/tablet craze is over the top imho, I'd never code on a touchscreen as typing on it is terrible, also conside the screen size is small and the keyboard eats away even from that. what the hell is wrong with using a laptop, or a netbook? |

There aren't any docs as of yet. Although I should probably add a help tab to the application. I'll try to get this done soon.
I'd also suggest installing the version from the play store so you can get updates automatically. |

Cool, now i can code from the sofa. I really searched the store for something like that before christmas. But i only found text editors.
I tried to code a few lines the first problem i had whas my own fault. I forgot to enter one of these windows suffix to the file.
A nice addition would be, if you could add existing files to an project (not only new). And it would be cool, if you could integrate some cloud service like dropbox (where all my sources are stored), or at least allow SMB/NFS paths.
But it is cool that something like this is released. |
