Neat, but why not extend the rasters of the logo into the border? It would maybe give more of a Feeling like the logos are hovering over something (maybe the JSL tag must be removed for that, too)

Hmh rather late 80s than "early/mid 90s" ;) (check Agile stuff for instance). Which doesn't mean it ain't good.
