A horizontal movement ($D016) added to the scroller would have made the scroller really nice.

Oh, that explains it. Of course I always use "inject to RAM" autostart in VICE, because of the possibilty to load over I/O when coding.
Now that it's fixed I'll 'upvote' =)

EDIT: @Dr.Science: intro runs perfectly with a cartridge (example FCIII) in VICE if "true drive emulation" is activated.

Cartidges in VICE seem to make problems. Don´t know why. I have checked an earlier version on a real C64 with a FCIII without any problems. In VICE (2.4) without any catridges the intro runs perfectly. @Spider-j: Can you give me more informations?

Hm. For some reason here it only runs correctly IF I have an cartridge attached. On unexpanded SVN Vice 2.4 it's just broken.

pirates! good idea as it fits a crack intro perfectly!
one minus: seems to have problems when cartridge inserted....not that compatible...doesn't work in ccs64, vice 2.2 and on my ipad (c64 scene).
