Scarzix, you're looking here for things this work is not about ;) | User Comment Submitted by Scarzix on 2 April 2015
Dr.j: it's not about who is best or which method is the best. it's merly that I think this image could have been much better with further details, especially when it's in interlaced mode with more pixels available.
But hey! it's art and taste is something personal. Still a great image, and I for sure couldn't have made it myself. | User Comment Submitted by Dr.j on 2 April 2015
@Scarzix: without getting into detailed techniques from Pal Vs Leon , i think the beauty of the image that is going to the abstract layer and not common rich detailed picture , so its completely different of demands. the worldview which AFAIK is playing with colors and figurative scene . but of course Leon can impose light on the issue (and about the requests he wanted to paint) | User Comment Submitted by Scarzix on 2 April 2015
Nice image, no doubt about that as I wouldnt know how to do it myself if I should decide to try being an artist on C64.
BUT that being said, its cool that its "interlaced", but having that many pixels at your service, I dont think this image has far enough details.
The colors looks too few and there are too little details to make it really interesting.
For me this is a good "work in progress" image as many of those I see from PAL when we are planning new demos. But in the end, before we release our demos, PAL has added and adjusted and added and added again, so the pictures looks much more rich with little details/sparkles here and there to make it as perfect as deadlines allows us.
To sum it up: good work, but you should add way more before you call it done, in my opinion - especially when you have a easy workflow like this. | User Comment Submitted by Dr.j on 2 April 2015
Cool imagination and great color blending | User Comment Submitted by Yogibear on 2 April 2015 User Comment Submitted by Hoild on 1 April 2015
The picture I can interpret, however the title is a mystery to me. | User Comment Submitted by Joe on 1 April 2015
Leon: Nice thoughts!
Pal: Not far from what Id have wanted, again as a rime of influencing the earth and humans, with its recurring time sequence. | User Comment Submitted by PAL on 1 April 2015
nice... I would so much have that dark moon a bit up so it was not almost the same as the clock but no matter what... really nice! |
