Nice find Color Bar! I guess almost every entry in the compo can use those tricks to shave of 2 bytes.

I think you can shave 2 bytes off:

If you put the charset at $2800, you can replace LDA #SCREEN/$40|CHARSET/$400 by LSR. If I'm not mistaken, the kernal executes a CLI somewhere after the RTS, so that can be omitted.
