Hehe. Hiding data in filenames reminds me of some random digits challenge I saw in a mailing list looong ago :) | User Comment Submitted by ChristopherJam on 9 April 2018
Hah! When I saw the filename for this entry my initial assumption was that it was purely an extended raspberry in response to Oswald's comment about the filename for "But we are never gonna survive unless we get a little."
Most excellent abuse of the rules as they originally stood :) | User Comment Submitted by Pex Mahoney Tufvesson on 8 April 2018
Compo rules were changed by lft to _not_ allow forced filenames on entries. I can live with that, even though I happened to invent "the best compression method ever" ;) - and now Mixer is back on track again with counting program bytes! :-D Over and out! / Pex | User Comment Submitted by Rastah Bar on 1 April 2018
Great idea, btw!!!
How about JMP ($00bb)??? | User Comment Submitted by Rastah Bar on 1 April 2018
I know this was released on April 1st, but it does not work when I load the prg directly in an emulator. Has it to be stored on .d64 in order to work? ($BB) points to $9ffa, but where is it supposed to point to? Somewhere in $2xx?
When loading, the filename is stored in the system input buffer ($0200-$0258), so if you hide code in the filename, the program might become really short, perhaps even just JMP $02xx. Could that work? | User Comment Submitted by Fred on 1 April 2018
Be careful running this. It will make this font the default in Vice and you cannot go back anymore since it injects itself in memory during startup of Vice. | User Comment Submitted by aeeben on 1 April 2018 User Comment Submitted by Rex on 1 April 2018
