Thanks for the positive review. Only...
I'm amazed that I keep getting comments that the game can be compiled to increase the speed, simply because it's a Basic program and so it's possible to compile it.
As far as I know, no one (me included) has ever managed to complete the game (playing through all 36 levels on Novice) on even the slowest speed setting, let alone on the fastest. So what's the need for higher speed?
If you want the game to be challenging from the first level, and Novice doesn't do it for you, then the prolem isn't that the game isn't compiled, the problem is that you've chosen Novice when you should be going for a harder setting.
Also note that part of the game design is that the speed increases. The speed you see as the game starts is never the final speed. As you progress, the game gets faster. This makes the game more challenging because you can't learn the timing needed once and for all - once you start to get the hang of the timing, it changes. | User Comment Submitted by KAL_123 on 2 April 2020
Good game. You can choose the speed and difficulty, which i really like. People which want the gameplay even faster, can compile it, then it runs in turbo speed. :) |
