"looks like WIP crack to me"

Yeah, it's a slippery slope if we start posting WIP stuff onto CSDB... it starts with Beta 1 (B1), next day there's a B2 and by the end of the week you're on B8 already with no end in sight ;-)

the problem is
0818 A9 E4 LDA #$E4
081A 8D 28 03 STA $0328

this alters the loading process, and it ends prematurely. Enter monitor
> 328 ed
before pressing Y or N

even if you load the next file manually it will then hang after the title screen.

is this really a "release"? seems unlikely somehow

Funny trainer screen. Looks as if it was taken from somewhere else and modified.
However - the ffd5 loader in there tries to load the file "00", patch it and execute it with jmp $080d which is the restart for the trainer screen.
So "00" doesn't get loaded properly. I wonder why though.
Shouldn't even need TDE until that file is loaded.

I can't get this to go past the question screen, with TDE 1541-ii enabled? Does it need an older drive?
