revisiting this one again half a year later and it feels as if it even got better

I really enjoyed the distorted bell sound in the quieter parts.

Good work Spidey all in all, but i have to agree with Jammer about the transitions! It seems to be like different stories squeezed into one song a bit. Anyway, thank you for this fine ambient song! :D

Cool stuff! Especially the first part. Didn't really need the drum part my self, but it developed nicely.

Quote:
what ambient actually is
remains a mystery to me, last compo felt like ambient = 12 minutes long with lots of arty farty.

Anyway, nice one with cool references (wanted or not) to Gianna Sisters and other tunes. Rustikal wie eine Schrankwand! (solid as a wall unit if this means anything hehehe)

Woke up this morning to a hellish day on the job. Brewed a nice, hot cuppa coffee and had a listen to this tune while still in my undies - it really saved my day :) Sounds way better than having drunk Spider shouting in my ear in the bar at X'18 friday night ;)

Also, very cool move to upload the .sng, since i am still a lamer and i really love to peek inside these to learn stuff from the grown-ups. Thanks a lot!!

Don't worry ;) Linus used drums as well on previous edition ;)

About those drums: it may be that someone just started hacking random notes in the tracker and then checking wikipedia what ambient actually is after already having finished half of the tune *cough*

I miss more fluent transitions between parts and more clear resolutions - that feeling of morphing and flowing needed for ambient genre. Drum parts tore me a bit out of the atmosphere ;) Still, I know it's not the easiest task in 3ch and it surely aims more at Tangerine Dream rather than later ambient efforts. Totally love tempo changes and slowdowns! Overall thumbs up!
