Cheers boss - turns out I had an older version of prg2sid that didn't include 'identified player' information for Polyanna, so I just got version 1.0. I should be able to manage OK if I make a tune with Polyanna again :)
Thanks everyone for listening and for the kind words. | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 17 February 2019
A .sid file download isn't _mandatory_ on CSDb entries, nonetheless a non-working one, but here you go.
prg2sid is your friend. You're welcome but try it out, it doesn't require a science degree to be used. | User Comment Submitted by Mibri on 14 February 2019
Oh yeah, sorry about that - Ian Coog pointed out that the SID file I uploaded was invalid so he took it down. My bad. I wouldn't normally have any trouble putting up a replacement but Polyanna is strange and I'm not clever enough to figure it out quickly! | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 14 February 2019
Where did the .sid file go? :( | User Comment Submitted by Linus on 11 February 2019
Fuck yeah! Grainy photos of times long gone. Love it. | User Comment Submitted by Brataccas on 11 February 2019 User Comment Submitted by DjS on 10 February 2019
Excellent! I really like the 'lo-fi texture' the sound has. I thought I recognized some influences from existing ambient tracks but it could be me tripping out too. Very good job! | User Comment Submitted by psych on 10 February 2019
You've definitely nailed it. True ambient. Awesome! | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 10 February 2019
Wow! Kudos for great use of Polyanna <3 Atmosphere just oozes from this masterpiece! And you surely know how to create proper ambient structure - very reminiscent of Brian Eno ;) | User Comment Submitted by Joe on 10 February 2019 User Comment Submitted by spider-j on 9 February 2019
Unfortunately I don't have a real 6581 machine at hand atm, but very cool idea to use polyanna for this compo. Feels quite deep for a single SID tune / ambient piece. |
