| Keeps crashing on my C64 when there's an error on the floppy. Using a WinXP, 64NIC+ without an EPROM, loading Warpcopy from disk. Unworkable :-( |

In overall I really like how it transferred most of my 1541 disks without much trouble. Currently I am slightly annoyed on a transfer problem with an FD-2000 reading 1581 disks though. The drive detection on Warpcopy06 is flakey and crashes when branching to $1f8a.
Writing $03 to $1f83 partially fixes this. Didn't take the time to really fix this - just avoiding the crash.

WarpCopy64 reads and writes d81 images just fine to 1581 drives. The file requester just has a file filter hardcoded to d64, so in order to write d81 images, you need to write the name of the file, you can't select it. To read disks, I seem to remember you need to rename the image from d64 to d81 yourself afterwards.
Oh and you need to be VERY patient.... it is deeeeeeaaaaad sloooooow.. even with JiffyDOS in the drive. |

Also, how to back up my SFD-1001 disks to PC, as no .sfd format exists (only the usual .d64 or .d81 etc)

Nice tool indeed, but beware its broken in some way. (verified by Mason).
In "fast-mode" (22 sec. pr disk side):
If you xfer a disks that has "certain" errors the disk
directory fucks up in the d64 file. Normally you see this
problem when RED errors are in the "border" area of the
view.
Try to check with vice all your d64's with errors xfered by
warpcopy and see if any has a totally messed up dir.
Fix:
Disable warp-speed, and xfer with slow-mode, then the disks
works.

| Excellent tool and a must-have if you have the RRNet.. Altho some small features are missing such as a target/source (8/9/x) drive selection, and the win32 app needs a "cancel" button in case your recoverable (yellow) errors cannot be recovered. Oh, and a RReplay CRT image please ;-) |

This windows tool allows you to connect your Retro-replay with attached rr-net networkcard to your PC and transfer whole disks between eachother. Very speedy and has build in re-read etc.
Worth a look if you have the hardware. |
