@madbeagle, congratulations to the game, i really love puzzlers like this. Good to have a "Puyo Puyo" version on the C64 too now. Again to the point with the turning - it could really make sense, to include a possibility, that tiles can be turned in the other direction too. Maybe you can think about it for a possible V1.1? This would increase the playability alot, especially in higher levels against stronger CPU-opponents. A keyboard-control could be added, for an alternative to the joystick-control (choosable in the game-menue) and the Space-Bar then could turn tiles in other direction for example, while another key turns them in the current direction. In certain Emulators, users then can remap this to a multi-button controller again and on a real C64, users would have an alternative control with two turning methods on the keyboard. You should think about it.

If you double-click fast you can make two vertical beans swap positions. Useful if you get stuck between two columns - in fact it might only work in that situation, I can't remember.

Great game, a nice conversion of "Puyo Puyo". Gameplay is good. Only a possibility, to turn the tiles in the other direction, seems to be missing. An additional alternative keyboard-control or Fire2-support (Annihilator Joystick) could have been used for this. Maybe in a possible V1.1? Because sometimes, when gameplay gets faster, it takes too much time, to turn three times to the right, when this could also be done, by turning one time to the left, with Fire2 or a keyboard-key. Apart this, a great game. One good puzzler more on the C64.
