very very great, many uber-cool parts, awesome soundtrack

only what science sez is true, there's more interesting stuff to stare at than a looong loading-bar , if you had replaced that with some nice gfx, it would be perfect, still it's at least 9.5 as it is :)

I created a party version for the record: Rebirth [party version]

Great intro, love that letter fading effect and multiplexer with vector objects!
Cool that you are working with your own loader, Proton. I can assume you will be ready with full featured fast irq loading system soon ;)
Great to see FIG rocking!

I really like this one, all aspects are totally awesome: code, gfx and musics... while it still has the feeling of a 1989 FIG demo, all the stuff is top notch from nowadays view. So many great new ideas.
The start is a great idea :)

Totally love seeing you comming back.
FIG demos were among the first things I saw from the demoscene, so you have a very special place in my heart.. (still try pressing 1 and 2 for having a new tune ;D)

great work! thanks

Thank you all for your kind comments. Could someone take less saturating screenshots for this release. They're not mine. I don't know who took them. but they are way too colorful for my eyes too. Thank you!

Awesome. Fresh oldschool vibes all over the place. Dunno about the sample - its long, but not very effective in its use. Anyway, love the code with a lot of interesting small tweaks, the pixels by Pal are as always stunning (the FIG logo in the middle in particular) and of course Rock (and Protons) music. Oldschool and absolutely wonderful. This ticks off all my boxes. Thank you so much for this!

> why are the screenshots so oversaturated?

Because he uses an oversaturated palette in his VICE, I guess. Just watch the demo with your "correct" palette or real HW, and don't mind about the screenshot, because there is no "correct" palette anyway.

This is how a rock solid hairy rock demo should be executed!
The opening with the creamy spritetwister really looked nice. The music and Mountain Breeze is excellent!
Great oldschool feeling all way in.
Good work boys :)

The opening screen is pure awesomeness!
Pace could be faster, but guess you wanted to keep the oldskool feeling.
So glad to see this finally released!
