@iAN CooG Sounds good then! | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 12 November 2021
The author already informed us and the sid is being patched next update. | User Comment Submitted by DeMOSic on 12 November 2021
the sid in hvsc has the chip set as 6581. the Tune is meant to be played in 8580 | User Comment Submitted by DeMOSic on 22 September 2021
To answer @Oswald He actually didnt write a tracker in asm. He literally coded an entire driver and wrote all of the notes and that in asm. So. No tracker involved | User Comment Submitted by TLF on 22 September 2021
Loves this!! Doesn't loop well after a couple of times?? Highly impressive though. Looking forward to what comes next! | User Comment Submitted by et1999cc on 21 July 2021
This is very great! I like it =D | User Comment Submitted by Yogibear on 30 May 2021
Contains some cool stuff! | User Comment Submitted by NoobTracker on 15 April 2021
@Frantic the main point is that it looks funny when rendered with oscilloscope software - I am terrible at configuring it so it just bounced around when I tried to render absolute PW arpeggio (https://youtu.be/6IuQVkfPr6w?t=33 where the lead becomes an arpeggio) but I personally think that you can tell the difference between that weird absolute PW arpeggio and just a simple square wave arpeggio. Here is an unlisted video where you can hear (and see) the sound a little bit: https://youtu.be/hHaSEh72LX4
One of the reasons why I made my own player routine is that it can handle absolute PWM arpeggios, so it jumps between different PWM envelopes all the time. I don't think that common trackers allow that. | User Comment Submitted by Frantic on 15 April 2021
@Noob: What is the point with Absolute PW? I'm not asking in some sort of ironic way (e.g. I am not "questioning" your choice to play around with absolute pw). It is rather a genuine question. What sort of effect is achieved by keeping one part of the PW constant? Is that effect hearable in some way for the listener? | User Comment Submitted by Shmendric on 15 April 2021
Cool track, you can tell that you have talent :) | User Comment Submitted by El Jefe on 15 April 2021
Well, that fits pretty well, as I also live in the extreme west of NRW/Germany.
Lets meet to have a beer or a MüllerMilch Schoko, depending on your actual age.
In case we are going for a beer, please bring you identity card and let me know the phone number of your parents in advance!

@Steel is it actually perfect? It's just a combination of my school english and Google Translate and I thought that the result would be similar to the scroller texts in old german demos - it's possible to understand them but you instantly notice that those guys aren't native english speakers at all.
Ich wohne im Westen von NRW, da kann ich schwer zum Beweis meines Alters mal bei dir anklopfen ... | User Comment Submitted by F7sus4 on 13 April 2021 User Comment Submitted by Steel on 13 April 2021
i agree this nice first release is really cool and has a Charles Deenen flavor within. if all your info is true and not some sort of hoax i would say: you are a very talented young man. but honestly i am suspicious. playing sherlock holmes the thing that bothers me the most is not your eventual abilities at age 13 in music and asm (other guys were almost your age in the 80ies) but a big questionmark for me probably is your pretty perfect english. i mean my son is 10 and i doubt he will be able to write such perfect english texts in 3 years.
ich hoffe das kränkt dich nicht falls ich falsch liege aber am Ende spielt dein Alter vielleicht auch keine Rolle. Aus welcher Stadt kommst du? Ich bin aus Frankfurt. | User Comment Submitted by hedning on 13 April 2021
Yup. Very impressed! Welcome! | User Comment Submitted by Aomeba on 13 April 2021
Wonderful debut, I enjoyed this! Just keep going, this beats whatever I was doing at the age of 13. Just looking at that stuff from my discs makes me go ehh.. | User Comment Submitted by Conrad on 13 April 2021
So great to see young ppl still making their own music routine for C64.
13? Man, you're a clever lad! I was just getting to grips of assmebly at that age, never mind write a music routine from scratch. :D Very nice job and let's hope you make more enthusiastic releases. | User Comment Submitted by Flotsam on 13 April 2021
What everyone else said. I'm so impressed that I'll buy you a beer (5 years from now). | User Comment Submitted by F7sus4 on 13 April 2021
Well, that's exactly how vibrato is handled in defMON, for example. I'd say this is interestingly good for a debut. Good work, keep it up. | User Comment Submitted by NoobTracker on 13 April 2021
@youtH (sorry, forgot to answer) Well, my player doesn't have a dedicated vibrato command, you just define an instrument consisting of a pitch bend up and a pitch bend down ... it's pretty weird. | User Comment Submitted by psych on 13 April 2021
So glad to see such young talents appearing on the scene! Welcome, enjoy and bring it on! | User Comment Submitted by Dymo on 13 April 2021
Really nice scene-debut I must say... nice work :) | User Comment Submitted by NoobTracker on 13 April 2021
Thank you very much, Oswald! :) | User Comment Submitted by Oswald on 13 April 2021
holy fuck at 13 I couldnt wipe my own ass, not to write a whole tracker in asm :D | User Comment Submitted by redcrab on 13 April 2021
Hah! I always wondered if this scene of ours will ever rejuvenate, and here comes the new generation already. -Hooray!
I checked your youtube-channel too and got impressed.
Welcome! | User Comment Submitted by NoobTracker on 13 April 2021
@Jammer Thank you! (tbh, you are kinda my idol) | User Comment Submitted by CreaMD on 13 April 2021
Epic arrange. Awesome debut. Felt some Karel Svoboda vibes in this one. | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 13 April 2021
Good luck in your endeavours and welcome to the scene! \o/ | User Comment Submitted by NoobTracker on 13 April 2021
@Jammer I'm that young, really. | User Comment Submitted by DKT on 13 April 2021 User Comment Submitted by Youth on 13 April 2021
Really good stuff! Impressed with the orchestral style you chose for your debut. No beat, no repeating pattern, no octave bass, nothing I would expect in a first tune :) Only thing I would add is a little vibrato here and there.
Oh and like GH, this made me think of Charles Deenen, esp. Zamzara | User Comment Submitted by Joe on 13 April 2021 User Comment Submitted by GH on 12 April 2021
Reminds me of the early days of Charles Deenen a bit..
Sweet theme!

I am blown away... What a bright shining light, what an entrance to the scene... WOW! Very impressed here... | User Comment Submitted by hedning on 12 April 2021
Jammer: And you are quite immature for your age (thankfully). :D | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 12 April 2021
Wow, tune is definitely not terrible! Are you not kiddin' about the age? That's pretty mature work, gotta say :O |
