When we had a look at the $d020-based Ukrainian flag implementation (40 Bytes for Ukraine) and a variant of it using BASIC, the idea came up if it would be possible to make an Austrian flag version in a BASIC oneliner. Being a bunch of highly motivated software and hardware engineers, we decided to give it a go. What could go wrong if six people work on just 80 characters of abbreviated BASIC code. However, the proverb "too many cooks spoil the broth" did not apply this time; we made a delicate broth using a sophisticated timing optimization, which gave us the intended results, even with a Polish flag as an intermediate result. The white-red polish flag still needed some timing adjustment, though; interestingly, it makes a difference if you poke a 7 or a 1 into a memory address. In the end, we also succeeded with having produced an Austrian flag. We failed to add the eagle in the oneliner, though. That's why it is just a *Basic* Austrian Flag.
