I will see if I can implement a different loader for a next release. | User Comment Submitted by TheRyk on 27 December 2022
super
works fine on real hw, unfortunately we really had to use real disk drive (which also means transfer real disks), no idea what the loader's doing, but on my really old SD2IEC it always got stuck in the detect disk prompt...
Just consider: .D81 with KERNAL load would make things really easy to use SD2IEC with and you would need only a 5th of the images.
Cheers

Thank you so much for making these; you're blasting open huge worlds of video game chip music for my expanded C64 to explore. <3 | User Comment Submitted by TheRyk on 2 November 2022
lotsa food for the yam, thanks! | User Comment Submitted by KAL_123 on 2 November 2022
Nice addings to the song-collection. Some 1MB EF-cartridges full with songs, in addition to the many d64-images, would also be cool. Also when using them with emulators. | User Comment Submitted by Mr. Mouse on 1 November 2022
VOLUME 1B (November 1st 2022):
- Total Mad Library now holds 1028 (!) songs from 106 games, see included tab-separated text files for the full list.
- In total 60 disksides (D64 files)
- Improved compression by adding another algorithm, so more tunes fit into memory.
This does put a bit of strain here and there on the playback for a few songs, as it costs a bit more time to process.
Especially with 9 channels fully active each frame. On To-Do list to optimize further. |
