Hey man, thanks for supporting Function with your tune! I wouldn't worry about placement, it was a mixed music competition and SIDs might not have higher ranks in the field. You, however, definitely reached the next level in music composing and instrument design. Well done and keep it up!

What everyone else said, very good tune and immense progress as well! Love the usage of ringmod and filter to dirty up the sounds, and part from around 1:20 onwards is epic. Keep up the good work!
