Thanks Raistlin for the CTRL+R/S hint, I fucked that up many, many times.
This time I figured I'd look at CSDb for hints. And lo and behold!

I agree with Compyx .. this demo is so good. Upfront were #1 back in the day, before Crest got famous .. check out DCS' Iguana #9 demo charts. So many things in this demo that were way ahead of it's time.

From the trivia: "PART2: you can't exit with space. Use restore.
PART6: Exit with C= and RUN/STOP (DON'T USE RESTORE!! It'll crash!) also, use C= to change menu, and joy in both port 1 and 2" ... LOL. Upfront are surely due a comeback - and should release a remastered version of this demo.. along with some new tricks.

One of the greatest demos in my opinion. Voted this one a ten just to cancel out people voting 9's and 10's for recent releases, even if those clearly don't deserve that.

Nice blast from the past. Mostly tech stuff but still nice to watch.

I can't seem to get past the second part with the plotter. How do I move to the next part?

Long time no see, how could that happen.... brilliant piece of everything.
Chapeau Chapeau, this is truly one of the best demos ever. If you haven't seen this one, you should take a seat, fire up your old breadbox and enjoy this piece of art.

Wow! It's been so long time since I last saw this demo... Still very cool presentation with great music in it. Especially Laxity's Star Dream hits very hard once again.

Nice memories overall from this one and Upfront in general which is still one of my favourite groups of all time!

What Violator and Zyron said. That this demo isn't on the top ten demolist is a shame.

Once the demo that set the standards for how to create demos on the c64. A true milestone in c64 demo making. Should be way higher in the charts.

Superb demo of it's time and one of my favorites! The Laxity tune and the coloreffect (later improved by groups such as Censor, Digital Designs, Wrath...) was totally excellet for its time!
