This is a nice tool - got to love the fact that this tool got a puffer included. Atleast according to the creators. | User Comment Submitted by Celtic on 19 January 2009
I never painted in anything else then this editor. it is truly a great editor indeed. | User Comment Submitted by jailbird on 8 September 2006
Hm, maybe it was just my impression... Most pixel artists I know and chatted with before the pctool/emu era were using Amica Paint or Zoomatic for painting multicolor.
Anyhow, I'm actually really glad that you proved me wrong and FP was used much more than I thought! \:D/ | User Comment Submitted by chatGPZ on 8 September 2006
@jb: actually a lot of ppl used it back in the days... | User Comment Submitted by jailbird on 8 September 2006
Spectator: based on what I'm awared of, can't recall too much pixel graphicians who knew about the capabilities of Face Painter and/or used it extensively. Which is a shame, as it's an extraordinary, rock stable (and IMHO the best) tool for making multicolor graphics on the real deal. | User Comment Submitted by Spectator on 28 August 2006
Not widely known!? ;)
Kudos to Faces for releasing some awesome tools in their time, including this one.. | User Comment Submitted by jailbird on 27 March 2006
One of the best pixel editors for C64, unfortunately not widely known and used. A mixture of the most handy features of Amica Paint and Art Studio. Very cozy and easy to handle. |
