"Shit games all of 'em" ...actually Shamus Case II was a very original piece of work with a twist on your average puzzle/adventure. It was quite addictive, and because of that...I'd give it high marks on playability. Both the Shamus games are some of my fondest early c64 memories. | User Comment Submitted by Jon on 1 May 2006
Wow, must have been a busy April! Nice work and thanks for the greet! | User Comment Submitted by Jazzcat on 1 May 2006
Nice to see Wanderer can see why people do these versions. There is soooo many games from the past that have bugs that really prohibit fluent gameplay or in some cases halt it altogether. Even some modern games have huge bugs, f.e. Turrican 3. | User Comment Submitted by The Overkiller on 30 April 2006
Desperado/ASS is a member of the Gamebase64. Don't remember which one. | User Comment Submitted by Wanderer on 30 April 2006
Yes, I have lightened up regarding oldie groups. Mainly due to looking at some Remember releases and reading how they were able to improve upon some bugs in the original. Thank you for the comments, I was somewhat hesitant to release this because I wasn't sure how people would react :)
Note: Shamus II came from GB64 so credit should go to ASS if they cracked it. | User Comment Submitted by TWR on 30 April 2006
Correct the title in the comments-section? :-0 Man, lighten up. | User Comment Submitted by The Overkiller on 30 April 2006
I like it !!! But now I wonder if Wanderer will keep on to speak bad about oldie releases ;-) P.s: correct the title NecromanDer with NecromanCer. | User Comment Submitted by Troublemaker/Crypt on 30 April 2006

Shit games all of 'em. Good work by WDR thou. | User Comment Submitted by Wanderer on 30 April 2006
This two sided release contains the following Synapse games:
1) Slamball +2D
2) Necromancer +2HD
3) Doughboy +4D
4) Shamus +3HD
5) Shamus II +3D
6) Survivor +3HD
It was inspired by requests from Lemon64. I tried to find the originals where possible, and documentation is included.
Individual entries will be created for each of the games as they can be considered unique entries on the Commodore 64. |
